Muhammara

Ingredients:
▢ 1 cup Turkish pepper paste (or roasted red peppers)​
▢ 1 cup tomato purée (or passata)
▢ ​1 cup breadcrumbs
▢ ​½ cup olive oil
▢ ​1 tbsp ground cumin
▢ ​1 cup walnuts (ground)
▢ ​Juice of half a lemon
▢ ​2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
▢ ​2 cloves of crushed garlic
▢ ​1 tsp black pepper

Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients, and you’re done!
2. The amounts above are a more of a guideline. You may want to grind the walnuts roughly for the muhammara to be crunchy, add more pomegranate molasses for sweetness, or use freshly ground cumin seeds for a spicier spread.
